About CALA
Colorado Assisted Living Association (CALA), was formed in 1982 as a vision of two administrators of Assisted Living Residences (at that time referred to as Personal Care Boarding Homes) who saw the industry growing. Since then, CALA has made its mark on the industry and is the only Colorado non-profit association dedicated solely to assisted living. During this time we have developed mutually beneficial relationships between our Community and Associate Members
CALA’s goal is defined in its mission statement:

This blog was developed to give Assisted Living Residences in Colorado a place to connect and get issues addressed and questions answered by their peers.
